The Women’s Guide DCS (Dual Chest & Shoulder Pockets) Jacket is built as a tough, all-purpose outer-layer jacket for use in mild to cold conditions. The robust K-DWR water resistant treated Primeflex softshell resists wind and light rain or snow yet offers more breathability than fully waterproof hard shells for better core temperature management.

While slightly heavier than their hard-shell counterparts, soft shells are quieter, more durable, and remain comfortable in a wider range of conditions than true raingear. The Women’s Guide DCS Jacket is cut to fit athletically as an outer layer, allowing just enough room underneath for base and insulation pieces, while a rain jacket in the same size will also fit over the top when needed.
